If you are serious about lowering your MK4, but dont want to sacrifice ride quality, then look no further than the MK4 ultra low coilover. This kit was was exclusively available in Europe, is now stateside for the serious performance enthusiast. Total lowering on this kit is not specified, because you can lay frame and still have threads left!
Unlike other coilovers that ride harsh when dumped, H&R has specifically engineered the dampers in this kit to ride smooth even when lowered in excess of 4 inches. The piston has a shorter stroke, and the valving has been reworked to keep the ride as smooth as possible, unlike other brands which bounce at the smallest transition in the road.
These coilovers are special order, and take 6-8 weeks to arrive.
